Overview

Bandicam is a lightweight screen recorder for Windows that can capture anything on your PC screen as high quality video. It is a high performance Game recorder, Video Capture, and Desktop Screen Capture program. It's high quality and recorded file size is extremely smaller than other software of its kind out in the market today. Bandicam minimizes the CPU usage and allows streaming video to be captured in a low-grade computer.

Bandicam makes it the better/preferred choice:

Bandicam is the best Game, Video, and Screen recording software. It is high quality and the recorded file size is much smaller than files created with other software (1/20). Bandicam minimizes CPU usage. As a result, I can reduce computer lag and save hard disk space. Bandicam makes the process easy and creates good quality recordings or screenshots. Another interesting feature of Bandicam is its device recording functionality. Through this feature, users would be able to capture their real-time webcam screen and record it simultaneously with a gameplay.
Bandicam can simply remove a background of a webcam and make a chroma key video in real-time while recording. When the Chroma Key and webcam overlay function are used in conjunction with microphone recording, Bandicam will become the ideal screen recorder for making video tutorials or let's play videos.
It also can record video at resolutions of up to 3840x2160 in high quality (2160P UHD video can be made) and webcam stream will be simultaneously recorded and merged with the game / screen recording (Picture-in-Picture, Video-in-Video).

I am currently using Hypercam. Bandicam has following features which make it a better choice:-
1) 4K Ultra HD video up to 3840 x 21060
2) Real-time drawing while recording
3) Easy to navigate in the program
4) Recorded file size is smaller than the competition.
5)Lightweight- good for CPU and Ram.
6) Feature to Add webcam overlay to video is there which is very useful.

I have Ashampoo Snap 10 in addition to freewares like ScreenVirtuoso PRO and FlashBack Express. The output size is bigger though in comparison to my Bandicam trial so now I am convinced that Bandicam is the one recording software I need. The addition of the green scree effect is a very nice and welcome touch too!

My current screen recording application is Vov Screen Recorder.
Compared with the other screen recording softwares, Bandicam provides many different recording modes including the screen recording mode,the game recording mode, and device recording mode, especially, the game recording mode allow you to record videos at high resolution and frame rate. which is important to me.

Currently, I use the free Screen Video Recorder program to record the screen. This program has only basic recording functions. I want to switch to Bandicam because It is a full-featured program for capturing video and creating screenshots of educational, informational, advertising or entertainment nature. The program has a simple interface, high quality recording and support for popular video formats.

My current screen recorder is Apowersoft Screen Recorder. It is a decent screen recorder but need improvements on its UI and system performance. It sometimes lag when recording games but overall it's okay.

Bandicam is a lightweight screen recorder and a high performance Game recorder, Video Capture, and Desktop Screen Capture program in 4K Ultra video. Its high quality video and recorded file size is extremely smaller compared to its competitors. Bandicam also minimizes the CPU usage and allows streaming video to be captured in a low-grade computer.
