Android 10 is reportedly launching on September 3
#1
Quote:Just last week, Google revealed that it would be dropping the naming scheme it has been using for Android releases for the past few years, moving on from dessert names to a simple number version. This means that the next major version of Android will be Android 10, and now, it seems like we have a potential release date for it.

As reported by PhoneArena, which inquired Google about the upcoming release through customer support, the update will begin rolling out on September 3, which would be Tuesday of next week. The information was given by at least two different members of Google's support team, which lends some credibility to the report.

It's worth noting that, even if the information is accurate, this release date applies to Google's own Pixel phones, which are always the first ones to get the latest Android updates. Different devices will receive updates throughout the next few months, with Nokia being the only company so far to reveal the timeline for its own rollout of Android 10.
