A Closer Look at the Upcoming iPhone 11 Models
#1
Quote:Apple will take the wraps off a new iPhone lineup in approximately two months, and the closer we get to this moment, the more information about the upgraded smartphones make the headlines.

Today, for example, we get a closer look at the upcoming iPhone 11 trio thanks to a leak from 9to5mac, which reveals that all configurations will be powered by a new A13 chip internally referred to as Cebu and having model number T8030.

As said, Apple will unveil three different iPhones, all of them successors to the current models already on the market. In other words, we’ll get new models of iPhone XS, iPhone XS, and iPhone XR, as it follows:
  • iPhone XS upgrade – Model D42 (iPhone12,3)
  • iPhone XS Max upgrade – Model D43 (iPhone12,5)
  • iPhone XR upgrade – Model N104 (iPhone12,1)
The cited source claims the new models replacing iPhone XS and XS Max will feature upgrade displays (3x OLED Retina), while the iPhone XR successor will stick with the existing 2x Liquid Retina, which is an LCD screen. Rumor has it that Apple will move the 2020 iPhone XR replacement to OLED in 2020.
