Join us at the festival where we will be discussing the future of AI and IoT.

We are excited to be at this year’s SXSW conference and festival being held March 8-17 in Austin, Texas. Along with bringing forth innovative new movies and music, the event is also bringing together great minds to discuss and debate pressing issues such as artificial intelligence, IoT, and the disappearing right to privacy.

Smart homes filled with connected devices — these are no longer futuristic visions, they’re here and now. Taking the stage to speak about them in a presentation entitled “Ethics and Responsibility in the AI and IoT Age” will be Avast security ambassador and chess legend Garry Kasparov; Avast President, Consumer Business, Ondrej Vlcek; and Avast security researcher Vladislav Iliushin.

Join our experts Saturday, March 9 as they address the evolution of AI and the current state of smart home security. Hear Garry and Ondrej debate the ethical implications AI and IoT have had on individual privacy, see Vladislav demonstrate just how easy it is to hack a smart home, and learn how to protect your privacy in this cyber age.

And, later that same day, you don’t want to miss seeing chess champion Garry Kasparov take on 10 players simultaneously in an exhibition chess match at the Twitter House! It’s really quite a sight to behold.
