Hello again,
I am an android lover to be honest.

So, at this moment i have to choose between Alcatel One Touch Idol 2 and Samsung Galaxy S8.
Which one do you think is better?
I prefer Alcatel as it is cheaper and of good quality but Samsung is more popular.
Your advice will be appreciated.
Thanks,

Hello, may I ask your budget and your requirements?
Galaxy S8 is a great phone, but it has abysmal battery life. Also, it will stop being updated next year.

I will recommend you to go for Honor smartphones because they have the best smartphones, which comes with features that everyone needs in these days.

In my opinion Samsung is a better phone manufacturer, it has a lot of good features, very fast, good camera and also a good design. Another very good phone in my opinion is for example Huawei P30 Pro (but not very cheap): an awesome screen resolution (2340x1080), an amazing camera with 40 megapixel and a resolution of photos of 7303x5477 and record 4K videos with a resolution of 3840x2160.

When it comes to smart phones, you get what you pay for...
Any low to mid range phone will not be supported as intended... Pie update has been out over a year now and only sitting on about 20% of the worlds smart phones. Security patches/updates for most manufactures are lacking as well.. If you want a secure good phone, best picks are pixel or iphone, there are of course Android One phones which get patched quickly, but specs very. These picks will be first in line to be patched and upgraded. Anything other then, will not matter, you will need tons of security, and the specs will all be just ok... Then we have to be mindful of unlocked vs preinstalled bloatware...
If you can swing a samsung s8, you could also afford one of the newer pixel mid range phones like pixel 3a.
