We have an update on Intel’s G3 series for gaming handhelds. It appears the company has selected LPDDR5X-8533, placing these parts between the lowest and highest LPDDR5X configurations in the Panther Lake stack.
The maximum LPDDR5X speed listed for Panther Lake is 9600 MT/s, which is tied to select X-series parts. Intel lists this spec for the Core Ultra X9 388H, Core Ultra X7 368H, and Core Ultra X7 358H. In other words, LPDDR5X-9600 is associated with SKUs that also carry Arc B390 branding.
The B370-equipped Core Ultra 5 338H is listed with LPDDR5X-8533 instead. Panther Lake also includes LPDDR5X-6800 configurations, which are tied to Core Ultra 7 365/355 and Core Ultra 5 335/325-class SKUs.
