AV-Comparatives Announces Endpoint Prevention and Response (EPR) Test 2025 Results
AV-Comparatives is pleased to announce the publication of the 2025 Endpoint Prevention and Response (EPR) Test. This annual assessment is one of the most demanding industry evaluations, designed to measure how well enterprise-grade security products prevent, detect, and respond to sophisticated cyber threats.
This year’s test featured 50 targeted attack scenarios inspired by Advanced Persistent Threat (APT) techniques and mapped to the MITRE ATT&CK® framework. Products were tested not only for their prevention and response effectiveness, but also in relation to operational factors, accuracy costs, and the potential financial impact of breaches.
Certified EPR Solutions in 2025The following vendors achieved EPR Certification 2025, demonstrating their ability to prevent, detect, and respond effectively to complex cyberattacks:
Certification confirms that these products met AV-Comparatives’ stringent requirements, balancing strong prevention and response capabilities with manageable operational and accuracy costs. Two vendors were not able to reach the certification requirements.
“Enterprises need security solutions that deliver strong prevention while also enabling effective response to complex threats. With our EPR Test, we combine technical effectiveness with operational and financial considerations, giving organizations a clear view of which products are ready to meet today’s real-world challenges. The vendors certified in 2025 have proven their ability to protect enterprises at the highest level.“, says Andreas Clementi, CEO and co-founder of AV-Comparatives.
