New Microsoft Edge features will save you money when shopping online

Quote:Microsoft has started testing two new features designed to help save you money when making purchases on retail stores. Both of these features, a price comparison tool, and a coupon autofill, are currently a work in progress with only basic functionality enabled but does provide insight into Microsoft's plans for making the Edge browser stand out from the rest.

BleepingComputer has discovered a new feature added to the Microsoft Edge Dev and Canary builds that will perform price comparisons of retail product pages added to a Collection.

This feature is internally named 'MsCollectionsPriceComparison' and is a work in progress as all the features are not currently working yet.

When adding product pages from specific retail sites, a 'Compare prices to other retailers' link will appear under the product price, as shown below.
