According to Marcus Ash, the head of Windows Design and Research, the company is actively working to bring dark mode to more areas of Windows 11, such as legacy system interfaces.

The update was shared in response to user feedback and indicates that improvements are ongoing but not yet complete. Microsoft has not announced when full dark mode coverage will be available, and some core system tools still do not support it.
