Intel has started shipping XeSS 3 support with Multi-Frame Generation in its latest Windows graphics driver. Multi-Frame Generation extends XeSS Frame Generation by inserting up to three generated frames between two rendered frames, aiming to raise the displayed frame rate without changing the game’s native render workload.
This is the first public rollout of the “Intel XeSS 3 Support: Introducing Multi-Frame Generation” item that Intel has been referencing around Panther Lake. Intel lists the feature as part of the launch driver stack for Core Ultra Series 3 systems with built-in Arc B390 and B370 graphics.
