If you want security that you can trust then open source is the way to go. Here I have compiled a list of few Free and Open Source apps that I use.
1. Notesnook - Note Taking with Sync and E2EE.
2. Aegis - TOTP 2FA Authenticator
3. KDE Connect - To share things with my GNU/LInux PC
4. Neo Launcher - Very Underrated Launcher (It is like Nova Launcher but FOSS)
5. Anemo - To Hide files on your phone (and also encrypted)
6. K-9 Mail - IMO Very Sleek Looking mail client
7. RustDesk - Very underrated remote desktop client
8. Infinity - Best Reddit Client IMO Droid-Ify - F-Droid Client
9. LibreTorrent - Torrent Client
