Quote:Several Ryzen, Radeon and EPYC products expected in the coming weeks and months
A list compiled by Olrak29 and InstLaX64 reveals that AMD will have new products for several CPU sockets, some of which are expected to be unveiled very soon.

The list begins with Ryzen Threadripper aka “Shimada Peak“, which has been extensively leaked over the past few weeks. The TR 9000WX series is expected to be announced around Computex or during the Advancing AI press conference, both scheduled within weeks of each other.
Last month, we learned about AMD’s new “Gorgon Point” codename. This refers to the Strix Point refresh, but it appears AMD will release more than two silicon variants based on this architecture. The list mentions three versions for the FP8 socket, which will also include a refresh of Krackan. Additionally, the leak reveals that AMD is planning a Soundwave series based on the FF5 socket, which is said to use ARM architecture. This could be a low-end option for the Ryzen AI 400 series, or it may launch later.
AMD upcoming architectures- Ryzen Threadripper
- sTR5 Shimada Peak Workstation (AMD Ryzen Threadripper PRO 9000WX)
- Ryzen AI Mobile
- FP8 Krackan2, Gorgon Point1, Gorgon Point2, Gorgon Point3 (AMD Ryzen AI 400?)
- FF5 Soundwave (AMD Ryzen AI?)
- Ryzen Desktop
- AM5 Gorgon Point (Ryzen 9000G)
- EPYC Desktop
- EPYC Mobile
- FL1 Fire Range (EPYC Embedded)
Gorgon Point is also coming to the AM5 socket. As the successor to the Ryzen 8000G series, currently based on Zen 4 architecture, this update would bring Zen 5 cores and RDNA 3.5 graphics. This might be AMD’s final desktop product using the current naming convention before transitioning to a new scheme.
