this seems to be a very old promo, as I remember getting 100GB long back

I do remember coming across Zoolz 100GB previously but I am uncertain as to whether it is the same.  In any event, I did register for the 100GB and it works!!

In this promo can you upload specific files as in the case of Dropbox/Google Drive?

I don't believe there are any restrictions. The only difference is that Zoolz is a cold storage service, so you can't download the data immediately.
