Eddie for Android v3.3.0 Tips
VPN Lock
The "VPN Lock" is the anti-leak option of Eddie for Android and it is a safety precaution and a best effort leak prevention system in case of VPN errors or connection problems. AirVPN strongly suggests to have this option always "on" (by default, it is "off").
Settings can be found in 'Settings > VPN > VPN Lock'. It has to be noted that as a safety precaution "VPN Lock" will prevent reconnections when untoward disconnection occurs. It is not "flexibly" at each disconnection. The device will not be able to re-connect automatically thus manual reconnection is necessary.

When 'VPN Lock' is "off" the option VPN reconnection is enabled. This is so that reconnections are attempted in case of unexpected disconnection. It has to be note that because the 'VPN Lock' is "off" reconnection attempts, data and traffic leaks may happen.

When 'VPN Lock' is "on" the option VPN reconnection is disabled. No automatic reconnections are attempted in case of unexpected disconnection. "VPN Lock" can be turned off when it is possible to activate "Always on VPN" and "Block traffic if VPN is inactive", because the leaks prevention provided by Android system is more flexible (it --the Android system-- allows re-connections, whereas Eddie's "VPN Lock" does not).
It is important to also note that "Notification settings" for Eddie for Android should be allowed in the android security policy and the 'Display message dialogs' be "on" to be shown or informed of any messages about connection and VPN status change. The 'Notification settings' and 'Display message dialogs' are in Settings > System.

In order to have a very effective traffic leak in Android that allows re-connections please enable "Always on VPN" and "Block connections without VPN" options.
Please see link below:

If your Android device doesn't have "Always on VPN" available the above option is not available, unfortunately. On many Android TV devices, however, it's possible to enable "Always on VPN" and "Block traffic..." even if such options have been removed from the user interface. See link below,

GPS Spoofing
GPS spoofing can be valuable when you want that your device GPS tracking matches the location of the VPN server you're connected to. You may have additional privacy protection without disabling GPS geo-location, collect/validate behavior of location-based systems under varied positions, verify map rendering or annotate locations without visiting every point, simulate routes, ETA scenarios, or multi-stop planning without being on site. Note: GPS Spoofing requires developer options to be enabled.

Ignore WireGuard handshaking timeout
Starting in Eddie for Android v3.2.1, the default behavior is NOT checking WireGuard handshake timeout, to let WireGuard manage the whole thing and in order not to break IP roaming. If "Ignore WireGuard handshake timeout" is "on", Eddie will ignore this timeout, and will therefore reproduce exactly WireGuard behavior. WireGuard is silent and connectionless protocol offering IP roaming, so once the handshake times out, WireGuard may or may not be able to re-connect.
If "Ignore WireGuard handshake timeout" is "off" and 'VPN reconnection is 'on' Eddie for Android will react to WireGuard signaling a "handshake timeout" and will try to re-start the connection through a new WireGuard session.

Block a server in Eddie for Android
If user sees it fit for any reason, he can block a server by selecting the desired server (long-press) after which a pop-up will appear. Select 'Add to forbidden' to block/disable it. See images below. The image below also shows blocking a server in Eddie for Windows.
