Microsoft Store gets a personalized home page, Copilot, and more

The Microsoft Store app is getting some new features, including a personalized home page, smarter search. It will also integrate deeply with Windows 11.

Microsoft is tweaking the Store app's algorithm to curate the experience for you. Instead of featuring apps or games randomly, the redesigned homepage will highlight content that you will like, it does so based on your recent activities, what's trending in your region, and also takes the latest deals into account. The Store app's search is smarter, Microsoft has made it intent-aware, and it will factor things like app updates, ratings, and even language-specific nuances to rank apps into relevant results.



The Store will display a "Discover More" section on product pages, to highlight related content that you may like. It is also adding badges to products on the store to help identify which apps use AI features, and which ones are Built for Copilot+ PCs.
