Ant Download Manager

Overview

Ant Download Manager is an advanced download manager of Internet files with the advanced function of downloading audio and video content. Fully integrates with all popular browsers. AntDM provides a simple convenient feature to preview the video files in the main list of downloads. Move the mouse to the line of video or audio file and AntDM will launch mediaplayer in the tooltip window. AntDM has the ability to reduce or significantly reduce the download speed and thereby allow other programs to run faster. By default, AntDM download speed is unlimited. Multi-threaded download is one of the key functions of any download manager files. This significantly speeds up the download of files (in some cases up to 10 times).
 

Drag&Drop feature makes it easier to work with the movement of the links in AntDM to download or downloads files to target folder or on desktop. Build-in links analyzer allows you to explore the static page, reveal hidden links to download files. Other features include multilingual support, download categories, download log, priorities and changes of download speed, task scheduler, sounds of various events, CHM User Guide, virus protection when download completion and many more.
 

Torrent (BitTorrent) is a special P2P (peer-to-peer) protocol designed to exchange files between users. The main feature of this protocol is that users download files not from some server, and each other - directly from PC. The scheme of exchange is organized in an effective way: the protocol will choose the fastest source, and if something happens to it (will turn off or the speed will drop dramatically) - the protocol will choose another source. 

 

In addition, the files are not downloaded sequentially, but in different segments, which allows a very flexible organization of the distribution: as soon as you start downloading something, you are automatically included in the distribution at the same time, allowing other users to download those pieces of the file that you have already downloaded yourself. AntDM supports BitTorrent protocol implemented by libtorrent.org project.

VCap Downloader

Overview

VCap Downloader (VCapDL) is a universal software from the developers of Ant Download Manager. It allows the user to capture video and audio from internet sites. The software interface integrates the familiar browser interface. The user just needs to copy/past the video url from his favorite browser and transfer it to VCap Downloader. 
 

For most of the 'free video sites' the "Capture" button is used to 'capture' the video desired into VCap Downloader. All 'Captures' can be seen in the 'Captures Tab" and from there he (the user) can select the video quality and download the target video. All 'Downloads' are can be seen in the 'Downloads Tab'. 

 

There are 'popular sites' videos that cannot be 'captured' outrightly. VCap Downloader has a "Parse" button for this purpose. Users can just paste the video URL in the space provided and click "Parse". Parsing a video will return all information pertaining to the target video. VCap Downloader uses that information to make it possible to download the desired video. See images below of 'Facebook Reels" download. 

 

VCap Downloader will capture the video and offer available quality for downloading. The user can also extract audio track only from any video and convert it to MP3 format.
