Chinese handheld maker has shared some benchmarks of their new gaming console equipped with AMD Strix Point series. Since this is the first side-by-side comparison of the new APU specifically on a gaming handheld, we prepared a chart with detailed info.

The upcoming F1 Pro handheld will be offered with either Ryzen AI 9 365 or Ryzen AI 9 HX 370. As a reminder, both APUs feature Zen5 cores, but the former is a 10-core configuration and the 370 is a 12-core variant. The important difference also lies in the GPU options: the 365 comes with Radeon 880M RDNA3.5 graphics featuring 12 Compute Units (just as many as Radeon 780M), while HX 370 features Radeon 890M graphics with 16 Compute Units.

The company tested the F1 with both APUs and compared it to ASUS ROG Ally X, which comes equipped with Ryzen Z1 Extreme (8 Zen4 cores, Radeon 780M iGPU). Worth noting, Ally X and F1 Pro both have LPDDR5X-7500 memory; Ally has a 24GB configuration, while F1 Pro will be offered with 32GB or 64GB options.

In short, the company tested the consoles at four different power limits (30/25/20/15W). Unfortunately, not all benchmarks were shared, so we only have 30W figures for HX 370 in Cyberpunk 2077 and 25W for Black Myth: Wukong.

On average, AI 365X is 15% faster, while HX 370 is 20% faster compared to Ryzen Z1 Extreme. Gamers should also expect an 11%-16% improvement in minimum/5% low FPS. Just keep in mind, these figures are based only on two games.
