Today, Qualcomm is introducing its new mobile SoC called the Snapdragon 8 Elite. The CPU features Oryon CPU cores, reaching up to 4.32 GHz (with two cores) and 3.53 GHz across six smaller cores. The CPU is equipped with 24MB of L2 cache, split into 12MB for the Prime cores and 12MB for the Performance cores.

The SoC includes an Adreno 830 GPU, which is said to deliver a 40% performance improvement and 35% faster ray tracing acceleration. It features three GPU slices, each clocked at 1.1 GHz. It supports all modern graphics APIs, including Unreal Engine, Nanite, and Chaos Engine.

Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite is expected to power smartphones like the Realme GT7 Pro, Samsung Galaxy S25, and Xiaomi 15.
