Apple Releases iOS 12.3.1 Update for iPhone and iPad to Fix a Couple of Issues

Apple released today the first minor maintenance update to the latest iOS 12.3 operating system for iPhone and iPad devices to addresses a few issues reported by users lately.
 
The iOS 12.3.1 software update (build number 16F203) is here to address a total of three problems, including an issue that may prevent you from receiving or making VoLTE calls, and a bug in the Messages app that allowed messages from unknown senders to appear in your list of conversations even if the Filter Unknown Senders option was enabled.
 
It also fixes an issue that may prevent the Report Junk link in the Messages app to appear in threads from unknown senders. The iOS 12.3.1 update is now available for all supported iPhone and iPad devices, including iPhone 5s and later, iPad Air and later, and iPod touch 6th generation, and can be installed right now via OTA (Over-the-Air) updates.

f you're running the iOS 12.3 release on your iPhone or iPad, you can update to iOS 12.3.1 as we speak by opening the Settings app on your device, go to the General section and then click on Software Update. There, you should see the iOS 12.3.1 release available, so tap on the "Download and Install" button to download and install it.
