AMD has detailed its Ryzen AI PRO 400 Series mobile processors for business laptops and mobile workstations at MWC 2026. AMD says the first commercial notebook designs with these chips are expected in Q2 2026.
The top two SKUs are the Ryzen AI 9 HX PRO 475 and Ryzen AI 9 HX PRO 470. Both are listed as 12-core, 24-thread parts with up to 5.2 GHz boost, a 2.0 GHz base frequency, and 36 MB total cache. They pair AMD Radeon 890M graphics with 16 compute units, while the NPU rating is listed at 60 TOPS for the 475 and 55 TOPS for the 470. In other words, unlike the desktop 400 series, the mobile variants do get the Strix Point successor with more cores and a a more powerful iGPU (at least for now).
