Upgrading my Dell Latitude 5480 laptop

Glad to have found this site - I'm on a 4 yr. old Dell new-to-me laptop. Finally moved on from a 12 yr old HP notebook! But it was truly a work horse. This Dell is already a great upgrade - it's fast and quiet. It only has 8gb ram and I'm upgrading the ram to 32gb. Very curios if there's much difference!
