Opera adds native Twitter integration on desktop

Opera added a built-in Instagram access to its desktop browser in April of this year, making it much easier for users to open their main feed or Direct messages through the browser's sidebar. Today, the browser introduced the same integration with Twitter.
 
The new capability comes as part of the Opera 69 release. It gives Twitter users direct access to their feed, search function, and messages through Opera's sidebar without having to open a new tab. To add the built-in Twitter access to the desktop browser, simply right-click its sidebar and choose Twitter in the Messengers section. Then sign in to the micro-blogging site when its icon shows up in the sidebar.
 
Regarding the new release, Maciej Kocemba, Product Director at Opera, said:
Quote:“Having Twitter in the sidebar is perfect for people who use it very actively. Twitter users think it should be easier to access Twitter on their PCs and we agree: we have tweaked Opera to make it the perfect browser for them.”
