Earlier today, NVIDIA and Intel announced a strategic partnership on the future of data center and consumer products, which will combine technology from both companies. Intel will use GeForce RTX GPU chiplets in its SoC business for laptops, while NVIDIA will buy Intel CPUs for its data centers, combined with NVLink technology.

The announcement made waves in the market and raised questions about Intel’s graphics business. The key question that Intel has not addressed is what will happen to Arc Graphics. In short, Intel has not confirmed any changes to the GPU division or whether Arc GPUs will continue to be produced.
