Samsung Working on a New Email App for Android

Samsung might be working on a brand-new email app for Android, and a trademark application discovered recently also provides us with a closer look at the name of this new project.
 
LetsGoDigital came across an official document indicating that Samsung’s new email app could be called “Email Plus,” possibly as it would be based on the existing email client but adding a series of extra options.

While specifics aren’t available right now, this project comes only a few months after Samsung’s app was flagged as insecure by Google.

A number of Samsung email app users received warnings from Google that their client, which was configured to connect to Gmail, wasn’t secure and came from an untrusted publisher.
 
Albeit a confirmation isn’t available, Samsung Email Plus could thus be specifically supposed to address these concerns by introducing additional security features to prevent similar blunders in the future.
