Intel has new coolers for its Core Ultra 200 series



You can’t buy them separately, not that you should, but this is confirmed by Intel through its dedicated pages for these new stock coolers. Intel has announced a new iteration of its Laminar Rx2 series, intended to be bundled with the Core Ultra 200 non-K series, which were announced at CES 2025.

Intel didn’t have much to show during their keynote since everything had already been leaked and known for weeks. There wasn’t a surprise announcement of the 285KS CPU, nor any updates on Battlemage. Perhaps the only new thing shown was the new stock coolers.

Intel is introducing the Laminar RH2 cooler, which will be exclusively bundled with the Core Ultra 9 285 (non-K) version. This cooler features integrated ARGB lighting and offers ‘near-silent’ performance, according to Intel. While stock coolers are typically not silent, this version may indeed offer improved cooling capacity and efficiency. The heatsink is made from aluminum, while the base uses a copper heat column. The cooler supports up to 65W TDP SKUs, and users can control the speed through the PWM header on the motherboard.

As mentioned, the RH2 comes with 285K, while smaler RM2 will ship with Ultra 5 SKUs.
