The latest update brings three new features:To celebrate its birthday with the Opera GX community, the company will host a livestream on Twitch with SypherPK’s channel at 17:00 CEST on June 19. The stream will be accompanied by a discussion on Opera’s discord server.
- Built-in Discord support: With native integration of Twitch, WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, Instagram, and now Discord in the sidebar, Opera GX makes it easy to stay on top of conversations with online friends as well as online trends and streams.
- Hot Tabs Killer: The feature allows users to identify the most resource-draining tabs and close them to make sure the browser doesn’t overburden the PC or laptop.
- Force Dark Pages: This new feature forces brightly designed pages to become dark to stop that blinding glare. It injects its own changes to a site's styles to turn bright backgrounds dark. The feature is currently in beta and must be explicitly switched on.
