I would like to see tests of AE, SRP and HIPS programs, which are probably better at dealing with 0-day threats than typical av files with signature databases.

Me too! but the con of HIPS is in general that are user dependent, and average users probably will go wrong blocking/allowing...

You're right, when I tried SpyShelte for the first time, I got crazy with constant prompts. Now I'm glad that it's calling for everything, because I know which application behaves suspiciously.
