Free tool to check if any of your online accounts have been compromised

What should I do if I’ve have been comprised?

• Change your password, for both the comprised site and any other sites which use the same or similar passwords.
  
• Take time to consider your password strength, ensure different sites use different passwords, at a minimum any sites containing sensitive information should have different passwords.
  
• Check your email for any suspicious activity or spam, be sure to report anything you find.
  
• If financial data has been leaked, check for fraud on bank/credit card statements.
  
• Be wary of any scams as a result of your information being leaked, for example suspicious phone calls, texts or emails.
  
• Ensure your antivirus/internet security is up to date and working.
  
• If the website in question has the ability to send messages to others, notify people you know so they’re aware of what has happened.
  
• Change your security questions.
  
• If you have been subject to many breaches you may wish to consider changing your email address.
