Intel launches 200S Boost for its Core Ultra 200K series

Following the disclosure of Intel 200S Boost technology by Gigabyte earlier this morning, Intel is now making this new feature official.



The 200S Boost is Intel’s adjusted overclocking profile that will be implemented across Z890 motherboards. This technology will be an option for users who want more performance from their processors without voiding the warranty. The 200S profiles are fully covered by Intel’s 3-year warranty, the company confirms.

These profiles implement notable clock uplifts in fabric and die-to-die connections, explains Hot Hardware. This technology aims to address performance inconsistencies in gaming across the Core 200S series (where S stands for desktop).
