The Windows 10 defragger seems to do a good job and I think it maybe time to rethink some of the 3rd party software [Defraggler, Advanced System Care, Driver Booster], that I started using long ago and may just be wasting space and slowing things down now the built in software has improved.

It works well
but when windows update updates to version 1809
it stays frozen in the windows logo
and when turning it on again
returns to version 1803.
this becomes a loop because windows update
download the 1809 version again
I have tried clean installation with dvd and usb
when it boots to install it freezes
in the windows logo.
the bios is updated to the most recent version (2009)
because 1803 is installed well and 1809 does not work?

I usually open a lot of folders and the "Recent folders" list gets all piled up. I use a tray icon for explorer (pinned) and when it piles up it reaches almost at the top of the screen. I usually open a lot of folders and the "Recent folders" list gets all piled up. I use a tray icon for explorer (pinned) and when it piles up it reaches almost at the top of the screen. I get rid of that "Recent list" by using CCleaner Portable but I just wanna ask if there is a fix for not letting Windows 10 pile it up like that. See image below.
