RE: What is your PC's security setup? - Der.Reisende - 10 November 18

Operating System: Windows 10 Home (Laptop) / Professional (Tower) x64, always latest stable build
Antivirus: Tencent PC Manager Global w/ BD engine (always latest stable) @ custom settings
Show Content
Firewall: Sphinx Software Windows 10 Firewall control (Free version)
Antimalware: covered by Antivirus, however, for regular checkups, 2nd opinion scanners are used: Norton Power Eraser, HitmanPro (free), MalwareBytes Premium (no Realtime Protection applied, just on-demand scanning)
Sandbox: Shadow Defender (always latest stable)
Backup: Personal files are manually sbackupped to external HDDs, usually once a month or when created.
Virtual Machine: none, malware testing is performed on a contained system, protected by Shadow Defender. There is no personal data on the testing machine, no mail software in use.

As 2nd opinion scanners can be fooled by malware / do not spot every infection, because some rely on signatures, I also use Mister Group SystemExplorer, SysInternals AutoRuns and TCPView to spot suspicious activities on the system.
