Quote:Google rolled out its artificial intelligence-powered grammar suggestion tool to Google Docs earlier this year. Today, the search giant announced that the spelling and grammar checker is also making its way into Gmail for G Suite customers.

The tools work to detect grammatical errors and provide inline spelling suggestions as you type in Gmail. In addition, Google has added an auto-correction tool to help improve the accuracy of common spelling mistakes.

With the tools' availability in Gmail, you will now see a blue line under a phrase that it deems to be grammatically incorrect and a red line under a misspelled word. The auto-correct feature is turned on by default, and available to all G Suite editions, although there is an option in the Gmail settings to disable it.

Users will also easily see the changes as they are made, since the corrected change will be underlined temporarily. These new options will start rolling out to G Suite users from today and the release is expected to complete by September 12. It's worth noting, though, that the feature is available only in English.
