Quote:Mozilla announced the addition of persistent private browsing in the Firefox web browser for iOS which will allow users to stay in Private Browsing mode at all times, even between browsing sessions.

The private browsing feature in Firefox for iOS allows one to browse the Internet using an iPhone or iPad device without any web history or cookies being saved on the device. The only exception to the rule are new bookmarks which will be saved for later reference.

Also, it makes it very easy to quickly switch to normal browsing mode with the tap of a finger, automatically removing all tabs from the private browsing session once the other mode has been enabled.

It's important to say that, while browsing history will not be saved, Private Browsing mode does not make users anonymous while browsing the web since the websites they visit and their ISPs will still be able to track them.

The new Firefox for iOSĀ 15.0 build adds an extra feature to the private browsing mode, preserving private tabs when exiting the application and allowing users to continue their browsing session from where they left off.
