This offer should was going to be  withdrawn at the end of 2017 but apparently it's still available. Anyone wanting to take advantage should do so before it disappears!


Note that you will still need a Windows 7 or 8.1 license to use the upgrade

Free upgrade to Windows 10 for Windows 7 SP1 and 8.1 users

A special version of Microsoft's utility "Upgrade Advisor to Windows 10" will allow users of Windows 7 SP1 and 8.1 to upgrade to Windows 10 Fall Creators Update (version 1709) for free.

For users of Windows 7 and 8.1, the planned annual period of free upgrade to Windows 10 officially ended on July 29, 2016 .
