Razer, traditionally known for its ventures in the world of gaming hardware, today announced its venture into the world of productivity laptops with the Razer Book 13. Shifting its focus away from gaming, the Razer Book 13 has no dedicated GPU, but it does feature Intel's Tiger Lake processors with Iris Xe graphics, which should be good enough for some light gaming in a pinch. You can choose from either a Core i5 or Core i7, with the latter also being certified for Intel's Evo platform.

Design-wise, the laptop uses an aluminum unibody design, anodized with a mercury white finish, which strays from the company's signature black color. The white logo also matches the tone of the laptop, instead of being green.

The company has made some choices that productivity-focused users might appreciate, such as the inclusion of a 16:10 display, which comes in Full HD+ (with or without touch) or Ultra HD+ (with touch) flavors. The 13.4-inch panel has relatively small bezels, but there's still a Windows Hello camera along with an HD webcam at the top, and the whole panel is protected by Gorilla Glass 6.
