Quote:Microsoft today addressed two known issues preventing Windows 10 devices with Realtek Bluetooth radios and Intel integrated graphics processing units (iGPUs) from receiving the Windows 10 May 2020 Update.

Both issues were resolved with the release of the Windows 10, version 2004 KB4568831 non-security preview cumulative update published today.

KB4568831 also comes with fixes for network printing, cellular connectivity, and family safety issues.

The first fixed issue was causing Windows 10 2004 incompatibility issues "when using a monitor with Variable refresh rate (VRR) plugged into an Intel integrated graphics processing unit (iGPU) display adapter."

The second known issue fixed today was behind incompatibility problems caused by certain versions of drivers for Realtek Bluetooth radios on Windows 10 2004 devices.

Microsoft applied compatibility holds on Windows 10 devices affected by both these issues and is now saying that they will be removed in mid-August.

Until then, even though the issues behind them are now fixed, customers are advised not to manually update to Windows 10 2004 using the Media Creation Tool or the "Update now" button.

A third issue generating incompatibility problems on systems with older drivers (versions lower than 358.00) for NVIDIA display adapters (GPU) and causing blue screens was also externally mitigated today, with the related safeguard hold still standing until Microsoft comes up with a resolution in mid-August.
