Quote:After the last iteration of Lenovo's Legion gaming laptops was mostly a spec bump, the company is putting out a more significant refresh. One thing that's changing, albeit less significant than the actual product, is branding. The branding is meant to be similar with products like the Legion 7, Legion 5i, Legion 5, Legion Tower 5i, and IdeaPad Gaming 3.

Sitting at the top of the lineup is the Legion 7, the successor to the Legion Y740. You can get it with up to a 10th-generation Intel Core i9, up to an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER Max-Q GPU, and the 15.6-inch FHD screen can go up to 240Hz. With all of that power, Lenovo also was able to include Rapid Charge Pro for the 80WHr battery, getting you to 50% in a half hour.

It also has what Lenovo is calling the TrueStrike Keyboard, and it's "inspired by Lenovo’s heritage in innovative keyboard technologies". It includes 100% anti-ghosting, less than 1ms response time, and soft landing switches. Lenovo says this adds up to "hair-trigger accuracy". The keys can be lit up in over 16 million color combinations, using Corsair iCue RGB lighting.

It has Q-Control 3.0, for boosting in-game performance, and there's Legion Coldfront 2.0 cooling. That's a dual-fan system with 73 liquid-crystal polymer fan blades.
